NATHAN’S FILM REVIEW
“FORREST GUMP”

My favourite movie is “Forrest Gump”.  It’s a good movie because it’s got action in it.  It’s got running because in the first part it has Forrest as a little kid.  Some girls are chasing after him.  Then after that he finally gets away from the girls.
The movie is basically about Forrest Gump.  It’s kind of a story about his whole life until he’s maybe middle-aged.  About his life, he had a good life and his mom was really nice to him.  Basically, it tells his life because he knows what he’s doing.  Tom Hanks is the narrator in the film and he talks about important memories from his life.  They would have this thing, it’s a time machine and they would use it to go back into the past.
They would use lots of pictures of Forrest Gump running.  They used these to tell about American history.  They used a lot of pictures of famous events and people.  The soundtrack included all kinds of songs that people know.  I really liked the music they used.
First he went to Georgia and then he went to Mississippi and then he went to mountains and the  ocean.  The scenery pictures were trees, different kinds of buildings, streets, different towns.
Tom Hanks is the main actor and Robin Wright is the leading actress.  Gary Sinise and Sally Field also acted in the movie.  Robert Zemeckis is the director.
I would recommend this movie to others and it would work for all ages.  I thought it was really entertaining because it was funny, sad and exciting.
